Cushion Pack © Warranty
Cushion Pack © cardboard shredders are covered by the limited warranty described herein for the sole benefit of the original purchaser. This warranty is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase on electrical components and 5 years from date of purchase on the cutting assembly against defects in materials and workmanship.
In the event such defects are within the warranty period of your Cushion Pack© shredder, Cushion Pack© will, at its sole option, repair or replace with an equivalent product at no charge to the original purchaser. This warranty applies to replacement parts only and is exclusive of labor and shipping expense to conduct repairs.
This limited warranty is void (1) if the product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, misuse, neglect, lack of lubrication, vandalism, improper service, act of nature, improper supply power or other causes not arising out of defect in materiel or workmanship. (2) All parts must be returned at end user’s expense to ProSource Packaging, Inc. for inspection of warranty claim. (3) End user must maintain a log record to validate preventive maintenance procedures have been followed on the regularly scheduled basis as outlined in the Cushion Pack© Operating Instructions and Start-Up Manual.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CUSHION PACK© OR PROSOURCE PACKAGING, INC. BE LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, REMOVAL EXPENSES, TRANSPORTATION DAMAGE OR ANY OTHER SPECIAL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL COST(S), EXPENSES OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THE MACHINE OR ITS USE BY THE PURCHASER, USER, OR ANY OTHER PERSON. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNSS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF.
Dahle Shredder Warranty
| Effective April 1, 2008 all Dahle paper shredders will be backed by a 2 year manufacturer's warranty. |
Dahle guarantees it’s paper shredders to be free from manufacturing defects (materials / workmanship) for a period of 2 years. Dahle offers a lifetime guarantee on the cutting cylinders (1 year on Security Level 5 and Level 6 models).
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper oiling, paper jams, misuse, abuse, improper line voltage, or unauthorized repair. This waranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. There are no other guarantees expressed or implied beyond the face of this agreement.

One (1) year limited warranty against defects in manufacturing, materials and assembly (*excludes wearable items). This limited warranty further covers the cutting cylinders for the life of the shredder (one (1) year on High Security models).
This warranty begins on the date of purchase and applies to the original purchaser only. It does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, or by unauthorized repair. There are no other warranties expressed or implied beyond the face of this agreement.

Dahle Paper Cutter Warranty
Dahle North America offers a one (1) year limited warranty against defects in manufacturing, materials and assembly (*excludes wearable items).
This warranty begins on the date of purchase and applies to the original purchaser only. It does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, or by unauthorized repair. There are no other warranties expressed or implied beyond the face of this agreement.
GHL Packaging General Warranty
GHL Packaging warrants each new product manufactured to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of (1) year from date of shipment by GHL Packaging. This warranty is not transferable with any subsequent resale. Terms and conditions set forth are:
1. Defective parts under warranty must be returned to GHL Packaging freight prepaid.
2. GHL Packaging's sole obligation and purchaser's sole remedy in the event of a warranty dispute shall be, at GHL Packaging's option, to repair or replace the part in question.
3. Labor cost incurred in removing the defective part and installing the replacement part is not covered by this warranty.
4. Contact GHL Packaging for a return authorization number prior to returning any defective part. That number must accompany the part upon its return.
5. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or any other matter.
GHL Packaging Warranty Exclusions
1. This warranty shall not apply if equipment has been tampered with, misused, improperly installed, altered, or has received damage due to abuse, carelessness, accident or failure to follow recommended regular maintenance procedures or has been serviced by someone other than a duly authorized factory representative without the express written consent of GHL Packaging.
2. GHL Packaging shall not be held liable to any person for direct, indirect, incidental or
consequential damages or delay resulting from any defect, negligence, or tort. The customer hereby waives for itself any claims for punitive damages and all claims of negligence of strict liability or both. In no event shall Preferred Packaging's liability exceed the purchase price of the product or products in dispute.
3. GHL Packaging shall not be held liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the operation of the equipment should the customer or its agent fail to maintain the equipment in safe operating condition.
4. This warranty shall be voided if the customer renders useless any safety device or part.
5. This warranty does not cover the unwarrantable parts such as Teflon tape, pads, wire, silicone and other consumable parts.
6. GHL Packaging reserves the right to make changes, additions or improvements to any product with no obligation to make such changes to any product with no obligation to make such changes to any previously shipped product covered by this warranty.
HSM of America Warranty
Quality is part of the company philosophy and all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. All technical data and measurements are approximate values and based upon single shift operations. All products are subject to different limits and specifications due to operation length, paper size, grain, weight, misuse/abuse and power configurations.
Read the Manufacturer's Operating Instructions, included with the product, prior to operation, to help ensure all precautions are taken to avoid canceling the manufacturer's warranty.
The manufacturer warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire.
The capabilities of all products are in each specification flier. To over use a model causing a product failure is not covered by this warranty. Modifications, alterations and repairs must be performed by an authorized technician. Lubrication for cross-cut shredders is required every fifteen to thirty minutes of operations, to maintain top working condition and this warranty.
HSM of America Compact Shredders
Parts to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to one (1) year from date of invoice. Labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to 180 days from date of invoice.
HSM of America Office Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to two (2) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for twenty (20) years from date of invoice.
HSM of America Professional Shredders
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to two (2) years from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for twenty (20) years from date of invoice. (If machine is purchased with an Auto Oiler, the Cutting Roller is warranted to be free of manufacturer's defects for twenty (20) years from the date of invoice.)
HSM of America Level 5 Shredders
Parts to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to one (1) year from date of invoice. Labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to ninety (90) days from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for one (1) year from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. ( Level 5 Shredders purchased with an Auto Oiler: Labor is increased to one (1) year from date of invoice; Cutting Roller is warranted for five (5) years from date of invoice.)
HSM of America High Security (Level VI) Shredders
Parts to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to one (1) year from date of invoice. Labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to ninety (90) days from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for one (1) year from date of invoice. Failure to lubricate these machines properly will void the warranty. High Security (Level VI) Shredders purchased with an Auto Oiler: Labor is increased to one (1) year from date of invoice; Cutting Roller is warranted for five (5) years from date of invoice.)
In all cases, the final authority in determining cutting system defects lies with the manufacturer. All cutting systems must be returned to the manufacturer.
HSM of America Premium Shredding Systems
Limited ten (10) years of Cutting Roller's warranty on crosscut industrial models and limited ten (10) years Cutting Roller's warranty on straight models. Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to one (1) year from date of invoice.
HSM of America Profi Packs
Parts and labor to repair any failure caused by defect is limited to one (1) year from date of invoice. Cutting Rollers are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects for ten (10) year from date of invoice.
HSM of America NOTES:
Freight or transportation damage is not classified as a warranty repair in any case.
Proof of purchase invoice is required from the end-user for warranty validation.
All parts under warranty will be shipped and invoiced using standard costs and will be credited for the full amount only when the defective-like part is returned.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A "MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT" BE UTILIZED TO SUPPLEMENT ALL WARRANTIES .
Kobra Warranty
Kobra paper shredders are covered by the limited warranty described herein for the sole benefit of the original purchaser. This warranty is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase on Kobra level 1 through 5 shredders and ninety (90) days on Kobra level 6 high security shredders against defects in materials and workmanship. The cutting blades in Kobra shredders level 1 through 5 are covered by this limited warranty for five (5) years from the original date of purchase and on level 6 high security models for one (1) year from the date of original purchase against defects and workmanship. In the event such defects are within the warranty period your Kobra shredder retailer will, at its sole option, repair or replace with an equivalent product at no charge to the original purchaser. Warranty labor is covered for one (1) year on level 1 through 5 models and for ninety (90) days on level 6 high security models. Your Kobra service center reserves the right to require proof of purchase to perform warranty service.

THIS LIMITD WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNSS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF.
Martin Yale Industries Warranty
Martin Yale warrants all component parts of its products to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase by the user.
This warranty does not include the cost of any labor incurred or performed by the dealer or other third party to replace defective components.
This warranty does not cover wearable and consumable parts such as knives, cutting sticks, drill bits or blocks, rubber rollers, etc.
Martin Yale will repair or replace any component part found to be defective within the warranty period, not caused by accident, misuse, or improper maintenance, if returned to our factory, transportation charges prepaid. If you believe you have a warranty claim, contact Martin Yale Industries, Inc. for a return goods authorization. Martin Yale Industries, Inc. will not be responsible for any charges incurred without its specific authorization.

Warranty parts will be invoiced, including freight. Upon return of the alleged defective part, credit will be issued, including the cost of ground freight, if the part proves to be defective.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, implied, statutory or otherwise.
Martin Yale Industries, Inc. makes no guarantee of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, any consequential or incidental damages of any kind, including, but not limited to lost profits or other economic injury are not warranted.

MBM Corporation agrees to repair or replace, at its option, any defective part or component covered by this warranty, provided there is no evidence of abuse and we first receive written notice of a defect within the applicable warranty period. Wearable items are not covered under warranty. Wearable items include, but are not limited to: blades, sticks, staple heads, light bulbs, rubber rollers, belts, feed stones, separator pads, fuses, clutches, and brakes. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and does not include labor or the payment of any labor charges or incidental or consequential expenses. Warranty claims must be submitted with replacement part order. MBM Corporation makes no further warranty of any kind and specifically disclaims any warranty of merchantability for a particular purpose. FOB North Charleston, SC for products sold in the US. FOB Toronto for products sold in Canada.
Minipack-America Limited Warranty Policy
Please review our warrant policy. Minipack-america will guarantee the parts for one-year (1) year from the date of installation, or 15 months from the invoice, whichever occurs first.
The procedure is as follows.
1. The parts in question are submitted to minipack-america for evaluation.
2. The parts are supplied to the dealer.
3. Any additional shipping expenses are that of the dealer.
4. All labor and travel time are responsibilities of the dealer.
Equipment manufactured by minipack-torre is warranted to be free of defects in parts and craftsmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation, or 15 months from the invoice, whichever occurs first, minipack-america exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or, at its option, replacing any minipack-torre part that is determined by minipack-america to be defective. The warranty is for the original purchaser of new equipment.
Component subsystems manufactured by minipack-torre carry the warranty as stated herein. The warranty does not apply to subsystem component parts which are not manufactured by minipack-torre. Subsystem component parts not manufactured by minipack-torre shall be subject to any warranty of its manufacturer. This warranty shall not apply to damage resulting from installation, modification, or repair by anyone other than a minipack-america authorized distributor/dealer. Nor shall it apply to any equipment which has been subject to accident, alterations, neglect, misuse or improper maintenance.
In the event of highly corrosive or high moisture applications, special protective coatings or stainless steel construction might be needed. minipack-torre and minipack-america shall not be liable if minipack-torre equipment or components are used with accessory equipment not manufactured by minipack-torre.
Representations and/or warranties, by whomever made (even if made by minipack-america authorized distributors/dealers), which are inconsistent with the terms herein shall not constitute a term of the minipack-torre or minipack-america express warranty and shall not be binding on minipack-torre or minipack-america.
THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS THE SOLE AND ENTIRE WARRANTY PERTAINING,TO THE PRODUCT AND IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, WHETHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER OR PROVIDE FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OR PAYMENT OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY TYPE, MANNER OR DEGREE, AND ANY LIABILITY BY MINIPACK-TORRE OR MINIPACK-AMERICA FOR SUCH INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IS HEREBY DISCLAIMED. Some states do not allow this exclusion or limitation of warranties and/or damages, so the above limitations and/or exclusions might not be applicable to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you might also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Standard Warranty on Finishing Products
Standard Duplicating Machines Corporation (“Standard”) warrants to Authorized Standard dealers and resellers only that new Standard Finishing Products (“Products”) purchased directly from Standard, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, given normal, proper and intended usage (consistent with a single shift (8 hour) daily work environment) for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment from Andover, Massachusetts on all mechanical parts and motors.
Standard warrants all products for ninety (90) days from the date of shipment from Andover, Massachusetts with respect to electrical components. All stitchers, staplers, stapler heads and numbering heads are warranted by component parts and not as complete assemblies. This warranty extends to parts only and does not include labor. This warranty does not apply to consumable components, such as, but not limited to, lamps, fuses, clincher points, swivels, staple driver bars, cutting blades, Plexiglass covers, rubber rollers, suction cups, belts and other rubber-based components.
At its expense, Standard agrees to repair or replace at its sole option all defective parts, provided that Standard has been given written notice of such warranty claim within the applicable warranty period. If Standard is unable, after reasonable efforts, to repair or replace such defective parts, the purchaser's sole remedy shall be the refund of an amount not to exceed the actual payments received by Standard for such defective parts.
All repairs will be done during normal working hours. All replaced parts shall become the property of Standard. Standard may require the Products to be shipped to it or elsewhere and returned to the purchaser for warranty service to be performed. If Standard determines that the part or Products for which the purchaser has requested warranty service are not eligible for warranty service, for any reason, the purchaser shall pay or reimburse Standard for all costs of investigating and responding to such request at its then prevailing time and materials rates. If Standard provides repair services or replacement parts that are not covered by this warranty, the purchaser shall pay Standard its then prevailing time and materials rates.Standard shall have no obligation to make repairs, replacements or corrections which result, in whole or in part, from (i) normal wear and tear, (ii) catastrophe, fault or negligence of the purchaser, (iii) improper or unauthorized use of the Products, (iv) use of the Products in a manner for which they were not designed, (v) causes external to the Products such as, but not limited to, power failure or electric power surges, (vi) use of the Products in combination with supplies neither sold by nor specifically approved by Standard (nor of an equivalent quality), or (vii) unauthorized repair or modification of the equipment.
EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE, STANDARD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. STANDARD'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE SALE OF THE PRODUCTS OR THEIR USE, WHETHER BASED UPON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL PAYMENTS RECEIVED BY STANDARD IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. IN NO EVENT SHALL STANDARD BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA OR LOSS OF USE DAMAGES, ARISING HEREUNDER OR FROM THE SALE OF THE PRODUCTS, EVEN IF STANDARD HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
