For in house print shops with high demands of paper cutting, you are going to need
this cutter to help you finish a job faster. With the high storage capacity programmable
back gauge control module with digital display stores 99 programs (up to 99 steps
each program) and frequently used measurements, you can repeat cutting jobs with
ease! Simply program your job with up to 99 steps, save the job in memory, and that's
it!
When it is time to repeat a job all you have to do is select the job which you saved!
You can generate more revenue for your business because you are saving yourself
time from not having to manually move the back gauge and remeasure the cuts for
your job. Even when you turn this cutter off the jobs are still stored in memory.
One safety feature of this cutter is that you must insert a key to operate the cutting
mechanism. This cutter will not operate without the key. This allow prevents unauthorized
usage of this cutter. Let's say you are the operator of this cutter and you have
to walk away to answer the phone. You simply turn the key to the "off" position
and remove the key. You have now locked out the cutter to prevent anybody from using
it. You can still leave the power of the cutter on and you will not skip a step
in your program.
Another really beneficial safety feature are the safety light beams which are mounted
on the sides of the cutter. The safety light beams are an invisible layer of light
which when obstructed do not allow the blade to come down. For instance, if you
push the 2 "cut" buttons which bring the blade down and someone accidentally places
their hand on the table in front of the blade, their hand will block the safety
light beams and the blade will retract to the start position. The blade will not
come down until the safety beams are completely clear.
